Making Payments to the City

The Revenue and Collections Section of the Finance Department is responsible for:

Collection of city property taxes, parking fines, license and permit fees. They issue city property tax statements, business licenses and Peddler Licenses.

Information and several tools has been provided to assist interested persons with such matters as establishing and operating a business, estimating property taxes or seeking tax relief

***To All Property Owners - Important Notice Concerning the Payment of 2009 Property Taxes***

We anticipate mailing the 2009 property tax bills on or about November 10th, 2009.

Concerning the Payment of Delinquent Property Taxes For All Tax Years
Prior to the Tax Year 2007

To pay all delinquent property taxes real property prior to the 2007 tax year you must go to the Montgomery County Trustee's office.

To pay all delinquent personal property taxes up through and including the 2007 tax year you must pay them to :  Austin Peay, Attorney At Law
