The Building Maintenance Department is responsible for the structural maintenance of more than 60 city-owned facilities. Our job requests vary from day to day and may range from changing light bulbs to replacing 10-ton air conditioning units. We paint, construct walls, duplicate keys, patch roofs, perform electrical and plumbing work - you name it! Maintenance requests are prioritized according to the urgency of the call, with the safety of city employees and the general public being the most important. For city departments performing their own maintenance, we stock many types of light bulbs, ballasts and plumbing repair parts. We also loan out tools if you don't have the right one for the job.
